Sydney 2 Month Must Haves

Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone had a great St. Patricks day! My post last friday highlighted all of Sydney's milestones and activities over the past month so I wanted to follow up and post all of her 2 month must haves!

Rock and Play Sleeper Tummy Time Play Mat & Activity Gym Black & White Color Block Books | Gerber Zip Pajamas | Dr. Brown Glass Bottles | Gerber Probiotic Colic Drops | Burt's Bees Baby Bee Shampoo and Body Wash

Rock and Play Sleeper - I was always adamant that "Sydney would go directly to crib when we got home from the hospital". Well - Sydney has not slept in her crib once. We brought her home and she was so tiny and her crib was so big! My brother gave me the Rock and Play and we never looked back! His son basically lived in it and I can't imagine our life without it. We call it "the snuggler" because it wraps up around her body, which I think she finds really soothing compared to the crib. This is also great for babies with reflux or sensitive tummies because it holds them at a slight incline. I can't say enough great things about this product!

Tummy Time Play Mat & Activity Gym - This product is the exact type of item I always swore I would never have in my house. It is so obnoxious looking and so not chic. Well.. then my baby came and she LOVES it! She could stare at the the litle octopus, crab, and other creatures for hours. There was obviously a lot of R&D put into this product - the top arms of the product are black and white, which is perfect for little ones who cannot distinguish colors well. It also converts into a ball pit so this gym will get more use than other gyms. The arms also have several different levels so you can hook the little creatures at different heights.

Contrast Books - We found that Sydney doesn't focus as well on regular books, except for when we read the black, white, and red contrast books. We notice a huge difference - she reaches for the pages and actually focuses on the images. We really like this one because its a soft cover book so she can grab it, crinkle it, chew on it, etc etc!

Gerber Zip Pajamas - Whoever invented snaps on infant's clothing is freaking crazy. Aint nobody got time for that!!!!!!! I found these organic *zip* pajamas in a pack of 2 for only $7.00! Huge price difference than the gap ones I was about to buy. I actually bought the same footie set in 3 different sizes because I love these so much. (And they are on Amazon prime so they ship for free!!)

Dr. Brown Glass Bottles - We decided to go with Dr. Brown glass bottles because we heard so many positive reviews. We recently introduced the bottle to her and she actually burps less with the bottle than while nursing! I was shocked because I was convinced she would do worse on the bottle. The bottle does have a lot of parts but seems to be worth it so far!

Gerber Probiotic Colic Drops - Sydney is not a "colicky" baby - but when we were in the process of figuring out what she was sensitive to, she looked to be in extreme pain and cried for about an hour after each feeding until our Doctor recommended these drops. They are probiotic drops and really work to sooth her tummy troubles. We noticed a difference immediately. They are expensive but now I only give them to her when I notice she is having some tummy problems which makes the bottle last a little longer.

Burt's Bees Baby Bee Shampoo & Body Wash - We first used normal baby shampoo and wash but Sydney started to get some baby acne so we switched to a more natural brand. This shampoo is 98% natural and is more gentle on her skin. It also really helped with her acne. Another plus is that this shampoo smells great!
